Hosting and server log files
This website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit it, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it from attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after a short time. We have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare. Data may be transferred to the USA; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services. Fonts, icons, photos and videos come straight from this website, not from third-party servers.
By day the site appears light, after sunset dark; your browser works this out itself from the date and time. If you switch between light and dark at the top, your browser remembers that choice only for your current visit in its session storage and deletes it when you close the tab. This is needed for the feature you asked for (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG); the setting never leaves your device.
Google Maps
On the “Visit” page you can show a map from Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The map only loads when you click “Load map”. Only then does your browser connect to Google, transmitting your IP address and the page you are on, among other data. Data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent given by the click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Links to Instagram and Google Maps
We link to our Instagram profile and our Google Maps listing. No data is transmitted until you click one of these links. From then on, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.
Contact by phone, email or message
If you call us, email us or send us a message, we process your details to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We delete them once they are no longer needed for this and no statutory retention obligations apply. Our email runs on Zoho Mail (Zoho Corporation B.V., Netherlands) and is stored in data centres in the EU.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, to data portability and to object to processing (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59-61, 10555 Berlin.
